The New Zealand Hanoverian Society and Henton Lodge Hanoverians have recently hosted a visit to New Zealand by the esteemed representative of the German Hanoverian Society, Dr Ludwig Christmann. Dr Christmann inspected the 2016 foals at Henton Lodge and awarded the most prestigious top prize, of Premium Foal to TWO of the Henton Lodge draft. The bay colt foal by Valentino from Grandessa (Gymnastic Star/Graf Landau) and the bay filly by Viscount from Henton Exclusive (Escudo I/Distelfink/xx). Henton Exclusive with her 2016 foal at foot by Viscount and her 2014 black filly also by Viscount were presented to Dr Christmann for the "jumping mare family" this family was also awarded Premium Status. Just another testament to the superior eventing breeding programme being employed by Henton Lodge Hanoverians.
